Not everyone thinks about the future and what might change and what might not change. Authors who create works of literature about the future like to take that big step ahead and prepare everyone for what they think the future may hold. Authors that take that step like to express their minds on not only what they believe but what they think about society and how it will in the future fail or become more superior. Also it can open up the audiences eyes and think about reality and the kind of world we live and now and how it will grow into something different 40,50,60 years from now. A good majority of the times it catches the audiences attention because if theirs a new movie with flying cars and floating houses and crime all in one! I mean who would'nt want to see that.
